Elizabeth Finger, b. 1955 is an American designer who has lived and worked in New York, San Francisco, and Connecticut. She is
a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she specialized in graphic design. In 1980, after graduating from RISD, Elizabeth moved to New York, where she has had a specialized career as a designer, working for major American museums, galleries, and artists. As a graphic designer immersed in art history, she has designed books, exhibition branding, and all accompanying exhibition collateral, and has worked with the leading curators in their fields. 

In addition to Elizabeth's design work for clients, She has created her own art creating collages from different sources. Elizabeth's work explores the interaction between defined geometric shapes and lines. Inspired by the visual and physical connections of space, the overlaying of light and surfaces, and the interplay of form, both real and imagined, her collages explore construction that is deliberate yet intuitive. The interplay between elements, from varying line thicknesses to solid and transparent shapes, establishes a rhythm and a sense of movement where  a visual dance takes place, and the ordinary becomes an unexpected transformation.
